Alternate Feed Stocks

Observations documented by Herty Advanced Material Research Center included pine and hickory chips which yielded 10% to 15% oils and carbon based solids with high BTU values. An early prototype of the technology, processed auto fluff, a by product of automobile recycling: observed and reported by the US EPA in 1988.  Medical Waste was processed for US Technologies in 1999. These feed stocks are plastic predominately and made higher ratios of process gases and oils that were compared to a #3 diesel fuel.  Soil remediation with entrained toxic constituents have been reduced to little or zero residuals.
